Join us for a comprehensive two-day program designed to elevate your skills in anterior and posterior resin composite restorations. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just starting out, this hands-on workshop will provide you with the knowledge and techniques needed to achieve stunning, long-lasting results that will truly impress your patients.
Day 1: Lectures – Mastering Adhesion, Anterior and Posterior Resin Composites: A Practical Approach
On Day 1, Dr Marcos Vargas will lead you through an in-depth, clinically oriented lecture designed to cover the essentials of adhesion and composite restorations. This session focuses on the science and artistry of resin composites, from effective bonding techniques to achieving seamless restorations that blend perfectly with natural dentition. You will learn how to master shade selection, achieve optimal proximal contacts in posterior restorations, and gain a solid understanding of cavity preparation principles that will set the foundation for esthetic success.
Day 2: Hands-on Exercises – Putting Knowledge into Practice
Day 2 will focus on hands-on exercises where you can apply what you've learned and gain practical experience in resin veneer techniques, anterior cut-back techniques, and posterior composite restorations. Each exercise will begin with a live, step-by-step demonstration, followed by the opportunity for participants to create their own restorations under expert guidance.
Hands-on Exercises for Day 2:
- Exercise 1: Resin Veneers
Learn the preparation, placement, contouring, and polishing techniques for direct resin veneers, gaining the skills to create beautiful and durable anterior restorations. - Exercise 2: Anterior Cut-Back Technique
Master multi-color, multi-opacity anterior restorations, and learn how to achieve the halo effect and translucency necessary for natural-looking, lifelike results. - Exercise 3: Posterior Composites
Perfect your posterior restoration techniques by learning proper material placement, as well as how to ensure good anatomy, proximal contacts, and occlusion using bands, wedges, and rings.
By the end of this two-day program, you will have acquired the skills and confidence to create high-quality, esthetic restorations for both anterior and posterior cases, elevating your clinical practice and enhancing your patients' satisfaction.
