Seattle Study Club events bring together dentists, specialists, hygienists, and club leaders from across our network of more than 250 study clubs. Every program pairs world-class continuing education with the relationships that set our community apart. Here's what to expect from each one.
Symposium: Our Flagship Dental Conference
Held each January, Symposium is Seattle Study Club's national gathering and one of the most anticipated dental education events of the year. Members from across the country come together for lectures from leading clinicians, interdisciplinary treatment planning sessions, hands-on workshops, and personal development programs. Past programs have included tracks for clinicians, surgeons, dental laboratory technicians, and full dental teams.
Symposium is hosted at destination resorts, and the social side is part of the experience. Evenings are built for connecting with colleagues, meeting speakers, and forming relationships you'll carry back to your local club. Explore Symposium 2027.
Directors and Coordinators Summit
The Summit is our annual event for study club directors and coordinators. It focuses on the leadership side of running a successful club: curriculum planning, member engagement, and learning what's working in clubs across the network. Club leaders leave with fresh ideas and a stronger connection to fellow directors nationwide.
Local Study Club Meetings
The heart of Seattle Study Club education happens close to home. Most local clubs meet 8 to 10 times per year for expert lectures, case presentations, and collaborative treatment planning with specialists and general dentists in your area. Online Learning for Dental Hygienists
Through The Aviary, dental hygienists can join live monthly web sessions with experts from across dentistry, earn CE credits, and connect with peers nationwide, all on their own schedule and without traveling.
Earning Dental CE Credits
Seattle Study Club, Inc. is a Nationally Approved PACE Program Provider for FAGD/MAGD credit and an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. Credit totals vary by event and program, so check each event's page for details on available CE hours.

The Directors/Coordinators Summit is one of SSC's national events, built specifically for club directors and coordinators rather than the general membership. This year's summit runs September 25 to 26, 2026, in Louisville, KY.
