Upon completion of Day 1, attendees should be able to:

  • Evaluate the benefits and clinical applications of digital capture technologies including intraoral scanning, CBCT, AI radiology, and digital photography for comprehensive and conservative treatment planning.
  • Perform intraoral scanning and utilize captured data to collaboratively develop treatment plans in a digital workflow.

Upon completion of Day 2, attendees should be able to:      

  • Describe the fundamentals of digital design and the workflow differences between additive and subtractive manufacturing in dental applications.
  • Apply hands-on techniques in working with 3D printed materials including the utilization of AI design programs for design and how to manage the entire 3D printing workflow from intraoral scan to delivery.

Dr Anthony "Tony" Mennito is a private practice dentist at Expertise Dental and the Director of Educational Strategy and Growth at the MOD Institute in Charleston, SC. His clinical work centers on enhancing patient smiles through cutting-edge technology, including intraoral scanning, digital design, 3D printing, and chair-side milling. At the MOD Institute, Dr Mennito is part of a forward-thinking team of educators who help dentists master digital workflows and stay at the forefront of technological advancements in dentistry. He has authored over 20 peer reviewed publications focused on digital technology and dental materials. Outside of dentistry, Tony enjoys playing soccer, surfing, and traveling.

Dr Mennito is part owner of The MOD Institute, a digital education center in Charleston, SC.  He also receives financial and/or product support from Henry Schein, Ivoclar Vivadent, and SprintRay.
